Scholarship ʻAha 2020: Kamehameha Schools

Multiple scholarships available in one application, including the Na Ho‘okama a Pauahi and Ho‘okawowo scholarships. KS college scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate financial need and are committed to contributing to the lāhui.

Important Dates:

• Application opens: Oct. 1, 2020
• Application deadline: Jan. 15, 2021

Eligibility:

• Hawaiʻi Resident
• Full-Time Student
• Classified, Degree-Seeking Student
• Having Financial Need
• Meet Maximum Funding Guidelines

Ho‘okawowo

In addition to the above requirements, students must intend to pursue a career in Hawaiian culture-based education to be eligible for a Ho‘okawowo Scholarship. Eligibility will be determined after review of CSS Profile. Eligible students will receive an email with further instructions.

Nā Ho‘okama a Pauahi

There are no additional eligibility requirements to be considered eligible for application review. However, as we review applications for awarding, primary factors of consideration for an award will include:

• Demonstrated financial need
• School choice — Preference will be given to students who enroll at a school that has proven track record of high graduation rates (of 50% or more). Awards may decrease if the choice of school changes.
